To the list of terms defining our Sphere (lito-, bio-, atmo-, info-) should be completed by LOVE-SPHERE. It is the only atribute that defines the planet by the ultimate and noblest quality of all. We intend to create a global network of Places of love. Some will be only known to a few, others will be a shared memory if marked by the plaques of our Global Love Museum… Love-sphere would thus contain commemorated places of loves: a house, a promenade, a bench in a park, a table in a cafe, a bridge, a balcony... We imagine that some stories will be commemorated with their proper museums or interpretation centres. Thus, our network will encompass the Planet making possible that the Global love museum spreads from the virtual reality into the real one.
We take it as desirable practice that places are marked by commemorative plaques for their significance in history, or that monuments, memorials and museums are built on the spot. Most of them are places of battles gained and lost, of conflicts between "our" and "their" right, more often than not, - places of suffering for the innocent majority…. or places where only official history can obtain necessary dignity.
Too little is done to mark the places of noble character, like the ones recorded in stories or legends of love. Be that as it may, we would like to remind all that there is practically no place in the world without a story of love deserving to be shared with others. Love being the closest we can get to the divine, and the most perfect communication we can imagine, deserves by its total lack of selfishness the most prominent place in the human epopee.
Shall we succeed in keeping these ennobling memories alive? We imagine that many would find this reminder valuable. However, founding a museum may look to a lay person enormous or even an impossible task. The fact is, a museum of this spontaneous sort can be done in a tiny place with little means. We can help, but all we humbly request it that we are informed so that we build our network.
We do need places of support and inspiration in our daily struggle for human dignity and freedom, the best expressed in loving others. Our unattainable objective is Planet of Love. Working towards it might be a rewarding and pleasurable endeavour.
